The Leonard & Helen R. Stulman Charitable Foundation supports projects that research the causes and modes of treatment for mental illness. In particular, the Foundation will support projects that promote participation in community life for people with mental illnesses, increase access to mental health treatment for underserved populations, and increase the adoption of evidence-based practices into treatment settings.
Award amount is typically $50,000. Eligible applicants must be organizations (or their fiscal agents) that qualify as public charities under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Charitable Foundation is reserved for programs in greater Baltimore and the State of Maryland.
